  • 11-Jul-2022: Changed Clutching Pearls C2 from Qt 6 C++ to C with glib and libevent. I did this mainly by weighing the pros and cons for the server portion, and Qt C++ would be supplemented with extra libraries that would have created more pain points than pleasure, so I scrapped it all. I’m back to working with pointers again!

  • 01-Jun-2022: Reducing the amount of time I spend on Twitter. I’m not sure what the best method of controlling that is, but I know it is a problem. I enjoy the social interactions and learning more about people, it is addicting, but it is to the point where it is impacting what I want to do in life. So, until I figure out the best way of limiting Twitter time, I will stay off of the social network. Maybe check it once a day? DMs already go to my email, so I don’t need to log in to see those.

  • 27-May-2022: Going to use the Calendly service to help schedule guests for the podcast and set it up this weekend. It should be much more convenient and less friction for both my guests/potential guests and me.
